Job Brief – Power BI Consultant (Reporting & Analytics Deployment)

Client Overview 

Our client is a leading global provider of workforce technology solutions, currently undergoing a significant upgrade to its client-facing reporting and analytics platform. This initiative is focused on enhancing business intelligence capabilities across a wide range of clients and multiple VMS systems through improved reporting architecture and UI design. 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Consultant with experience in business intelligence deployment, strategic report design, and analytics validation to support the transition and rollout of an upgraded reporting package. The role will involve consolidating and translating existing reports into pre-defined aesthetic parameters, evaluating custom reporting needs, and deploying new standardized reporting tools across a broad client base. 

This role requires strong communication, documentation, and UI-focused reporting skills, as well as the ability to work in fast-paced, client-oriented environments. Prior experience in MSP (Managed Service Provider) or Total Workforce Solutions industries is a plus. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Translate and support the deployment of upgraded BI reporting packages across ~30 client accounts 
• Consolidate 30–50 existing reports per client into a new standardized reporting format 
• Evaluate current custom reports for integration into the new framework 
• Design, develop, and validate new reporting components using Power BI  
• Collaborate closely with the client’s BI team for validation and brand alignment 
• Document all evaluations, deployment progress, and integration decisions 
• Support troubleshooting and communication during report rollout 
• Provide regular updates, report documentation, and participate in final summary reviews 

Required Qualifications 

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (functional, not just dashboard building) 
• Strong background in report design, layout, and user interface development 
• Experience in report deployment and validation for multi-client environments 
• Excellent written communication skills for documentation and solution communication 
• (Preferred) Exposure to MSP or Total Workforce Solutions industry 
• (Preferred) Experience working as a third-party consultant or external implementation partner 

Project Details 

• Duration: Initial contract of 3 months, with a potential extension through Q2 2026 
• Workload: Full-time (40 hours/week)  
• Engagement Model: Remote, contractor-based 
• Reporting To: Client’s BI team and project leads 

Deliverables 

• Documentation on custom report evaluations and integration 
• BI validation reports and implementation summaries 
• Participation in post-deployment analysis and lessons learned sessions
