Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Strategy Associate / Senior Business Analyst. Your work will be pivotal in assisting senior consultants and executives in making data-driven decisions, optimizing business models, and driving client success. This role requires a keen analytical mind, excellent research skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leveraging business skills to navigate the intricacies of the life sciences industry, ensuring successful investments and strategic decision-making.

1. Market Analysis - Conduct in-depth analysis of specific sectors to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential risks. Provide comprehensive reports and insights to inform investment decisions and support executive teams.

2. Due Diligence - Collaborate with the investment team to perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on understanding scientific aspects and business implications.

3. Strategic Planning - Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, working closely with portfolio companies to optimize their business strategies. Provide recommendations for business growth, operational efficiency, and market positioning.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including experts and business professionals, to facilitate effective communication and integration of knowledge.

5. Continuous Learning - Stay abreast of advancements in the AI & technology industries, ensuring a deep understanding of the evolving landscape. Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

Previous management consulting experience at a Big5 consulting firm (McKinsey, KPMG, E&Y etc.) or relevant technology startup experience
Strong analytical and quantitative skills - with a proven ability to interpret and leverage data for insights (Tableau, SQL, PowerBI etc.)
Proficient in building presentation decks & working in excel
Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
Project management and cross-functional work experience
